Junior league match dates

We will be looking to run some junior matches in 2024

The matches will on a Saturday morning

with an 8am draw for a 3 hour match

 All anglers must book a place no later than 3 days before match day via the contact us tab with your name and membership number or via our facebook page

Remenham Angling Society Henley waters are proud to announce an initiative to get youngsters out of the house and onto the river bank!

Club captain  Andrew Crook along with vice captains James Morl and Kevin Crook started there love of fishing at a young age way back in the late 70s, and soon joined Remenham Angling Society's junior league  match fishing on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings in the summer league.

The senior members of the club, especially the then club captain Nicky Baker were always happy to help out the juniors of the club and we are keen to continue their ethos.

During the summer holidays we will be running a junior championship for 11 to 16 year olds on the Cottage Reach section of the Thames. We will be on hand to help coach and support the juniors so no previous fishing experience is needed.

There will be no charge for our time and the environment agency rod licence is free for under16's, the only cost will be the £15 junior membership fee and some very basic fishing tackle.
